Community Dietitian 2 Jobs in Alberta

To provide direct clinical care, which encompasses dietetic assessment, treatment and management of patients.

The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative

Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills

Working knowledge of basic information technology

Knowledge of specialist dietetic interventions relevant to post.

Responsible to read, understand and comply with Park Place’s and provincially mandated Occupational Health and Safety policies and safe work practices.

Involved in all aspects of the Health and Safety Program including:

Promotes health and safety policy and awareness,

Responsible to take every reasonable precaution to protect the safety of Residents, self, other staff, and the public.

Reports any good catch (near miss), injury, accident, or equipment damage to supervisor immediately and completes required reports.

Corrects and/or reports unsafe conditions.

Experience as a Clinical Dietitian in a clinical and/or continuing care setting is required

Experience working with the following programs: Filemaker, MealSuite and Epic is required

Graduation from a recognized degree program in Foods and Nutrition;

Completion of recognized internship program

Registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta required; Registration with Dietitians of Canada an asset

Understand and worked with the AHS diet guidelines
