Community Action Coordinator Jobs in Alberta

● Assist with other project management tasks, including planning, organizing, and coordinating research activities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Collect, organize, and manage research data in a systematic and secure manner

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

● Conduct scoping reviews on topics relevant to newcomer settlements, community integration, and related fields

● Lead quantitative and qualitative research projects

Manage lead sources via telephone, walk-ins, email, social media, and home visits

Support the General Manager with preparation of lease documentation prior to move-in

Other duties as assigned to support operational requirements

Minimum of 2 years residential leasing experience

Experience in an aging adult setting is preferred

Exceptional interpersonal skills with peers, residents, visitors and operational partners

Excellent group facilitation and conflict management skills with adults and youth.

Strong knowledge and experience in computer software applications (e.g Adobe, Canva, MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Zoom, e-mail, internet, etc.).

Understand and adhere to the program curriculum, evaluation plan, ethical conduct and privacy requirements at all times

Demonstrated experience with community engagement and community organization (1-2 years).

Demonstrated experience working in partnership development (1-2 years). Work in a non-profit or social services environment is preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Enjoys working on a team and can build successful working relationships with internal and external partners?

Has skills in relationship management.
