Proven retail experience preferably within cosmetics

While not essential, previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and opening and closing the store is desirable

As a Booking Clerk/Secretary, You Will

Provide scheduling/booking, clerical and reception functions for the area.

Scheduling and booking a variety of client/patient appointments and follow up visits, tests and referrals,

1+ year(s) experience in product/service/project/program management or software development or equivalent experience.

A Product Manager Intern works collaboratively with teammates to ensure our products exceed customer expectations.

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.  

Estimating time requirements for project completion including customer needs, machine capabilities and resources

Thorough knowledge of materials/substrates used in a digital printing environment

Computer literate with knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat Pro, MS Office

Knowledge of the digital, offset and/or large format printing process is an asset

Experience with pre-press software is an asset

Knowledge of Zund Cutter or Digital Cutting tables operation is an asset

Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively

Diversified experience in NDT or related field

Approx. 40 hours per week

Candidates are required to be local Vancouver and/or surrounding area

Effectively connect with customers, and collaborate with coworkers and management, using excellent oral and written communication skills.

Participate in inventory accountabilities, including receiving-in, cycle counts, economizing, and loss prevention measures.

Proven luxury and/or specialty retail store experience.

Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.

Demonstrate “customer-centric” mindset and values during all touch-points of the customer journey.

Proven work experience as a Communications Specialist or similar role, demonstrating successful management of communication strategies and campaigns.

Organizational and time management skills.

Supporting training and communication as part of change management (e.g., designing or delivering specialized training to end users). 

Contributes to the development, content management and content creation for WEST e-newsletters, websites, and the intranet.

Supports the organization and management of special events such as staff town halls.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
