Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) including the development of executive level presentations and reporting on KPIs

Strategic visionary with business acumen, analytical, and problem solving skills

Passion for learning and sharing of knowledge

Demonstrated strategic planning and facilitation skills

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and similar Google tools

Provide management with reports highlighting potential contractual risks and liabilities.

Project management experience/designation is also considered an asset.

Participate in negotiations with Clients, material suppliers or subcontractors to resolve contractual issues, change management and finalize terms.

Attend commercial or contract change management meetings with Client or subcontractors.

Draft contractual qualifications for bids and contractual amendments for contracts.

Review Bids and Proposal documents to verify inclusion of contractual qualifications.

Minimum five (5) years progressive, demonstrated contract/procurement management experience in both prime contract and subcontracting scenarios.

Proven experience managing the strategic, planning, sourcing, negotiating, drafting, admin, change control and close-out phases of the contracting/procurement cycle.

Experience implementing various forms of commercial structure including stipulated sum, unit rate, time and materials and cost-plus pricing structures.

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

· Solid understanding of the BC tug boat industry and the transportation of refined

Contracts Management experience, procurement and contract administration

Provide commercial and contractual advice to business’ project teams, operational staff and management.

Review and support strategic project monthly risk/management reviews

10 - 15 years of related experience in an engineering consulting, construction, energy or natural resources environment.

Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial, economic and business issues relating to the mining, construction or related industry.

Excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills and Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
