A Clinical Extern is a medical professional who provides clinical support to a healthcare team. Additionally, they must have experience in a clinical setting and be certified in their field. Clinical Externs must also have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Tools that help Clinical Externs work better include medical software, electronic medical records, and patient tracking systems. Additionally, Clinical Externs must be familiar with medical terminology and be able to use medical equipment safely and effectively.
