Overview Clinical engineers are healthcare professionals who specialize in the application of engineering principles and technology to healthcare delivery. They are responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of medical equipment and systems. Clinical engineers also provide technical support and advice to healthcare professionals, and they may be involved in research and development of new medical technologies. Detailed Job Description Clinical engineers are responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of medical equipment and systems. They work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that medical equipment is safe and effective. Clinical engineers also provide technical support and advice to healthcare professionals, and they may be involved in research and development of new medical technologies. Clinical engineers must be knowledgeable about the latest medical technologies and have a strong understanding of engineering principles. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of engineering principles and medical technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair medical equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field
• Master’s degree in engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Professional certification (preferred)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of engineering principles and medical technologies
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
• Knowledge of medical equipment and systems
• Knowledge of computer systems and software
Job Experience
• Previous experience in a clinical engineering role (preferred)
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
Job Responsibilities
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain medical equipment and systems
• Provide technical support and advice to healthcare professionals
• Troubleshoot and repair medical equipment
• Monitor and evaluate medical equipment performance
• Research and develop new medical technologies
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
