Client Information Systems Analyst Jobs

Designs, develops and maintains, and/or works with-outside vendors to develop SQL database and software applications supporting HR process/program and knowledge needs.

Demonstrated knowledge of electronic information systems.

Demonstrated skills in data research, gathering, data modeling, and business analysis using tools such as R, SAS, SSPS

Knowledge of database development and administration

Demonstrated knowledge in machine learning and predictive analysis

Demonstrated skills with building and maintain SQL Server Integration

Requires additional experience to operate at a senior level, and to become familiar with responsibilities related to project leadership.

4 years year University education in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related discipline.

Minimum of +6 and up to and including 8 years of experience is required working with Microsoft O365 and Azure platforms.

Working with Active Directory and Azure AD as related to SaaS offerings like Office 365

Monitoring and responding to incidents utilizing Azure Insights and various remote and Azure monitoring tools.

Requires experience to understand new and existing information processing concepts, computer and communications equipment, and software.

Knowledge of, and experience in, implementing ITSG-33 Risk Management Framework and/or the NIST Special Publication 800 Series Risk Management processes;

Experience with DND, RCMP and/or other government department Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) processes for information systems would be an asset;

Experience with system and software engineering, and system lifecycle processes would be an asset;

Experience with the Harmonized Threat and Risk Assessment (HTRA) methodology would be an asset;

Experience with DND systems and networks, and/or with the Navy or marine environment, would be an asset; and

Recognized IT Security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM and/or CISA) would be highly desirable.

Semi-remote: 2 days work from home per week permitted

Engagement with internal customers to capture their requirements, evaluate and develop new applications, solutions and/or enhancements to existing systems functionality.

Technical lead on implementation of systems integration projects, including defining requirements, development work and functional testing.

8+ years of related experience, including:

Min of 8 years of cross-functional information systems experience supporting Operations and Manufacturing business units.

Min. of 5 years of proven experience in business systems integration and architecture design.

Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.

Confer with the clients to identify and document requirements.

Education - Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent

Experience - 3 years to less than 5 years

Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions.

Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software & hardware.
