Class 1A Tractor Driver Jobs

Competitive salary - $25.48 / hour or $28.53 with Journeyman ticket or equivalent experience

Background and experience in mechanical maintenance and repair for mobile machines such as harvesters or tractors

MIG Stick Welding experience - no ticket or credentials required

Strong knowledge of Saskatoon and surrounding area.

Minimum 3 years driving experience- short haul/city experience preferred.

Hydraulic equipment experience, and/or farm background an asset.

Excellent logistical and organizational skills.

Coordination with fellow operators and employees within other departments to ensure maximum efficiency in daily operations.

Maintain flexibility in daily routine in order to respond to Management’s responses to the customer demands

Maintain open communication with Branch Manager and/or central dispatch for delivery schedules

Report any and all accidents involving the driver or equipment to Branch Manager or Central Dispatch

Transport, deliver and retrieve assorted construction and heavy equipment

Operate commercial or non-commercial vehicles in a safe, efficient and professional manner

Promote professionalism and excellent customer service attitude

• Pre-Trip, En-Route, and Post Trip Inspections

• BOL Paperwork and Trip Reports

• Safe Operation of Truck and Equipment

• Valid Class 1A Driver’s License

• Pre-Employment and Random Drug and Alcohol Screening

• Permanent full-time position, U.S. travel a must
