Our client, a leader in horticulture, is looking for Tractor Operators to join their team in Ramsay Point, Manitoba! They’re an organization dedicated to uncompromising quality and service. They operate a network of 25 production/distribution facilities across Canada and the United States and take pride in the high-quality jobs they can offer everyday people in small towns and rural areas.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Working with loaders and other agricultural equipment to harvest peat
  • Working longer hours or weekends — as required
  • Performing daily equipment checks to ensure it is in safe operating condition, as well as general maintenance of equipment for optimal operations
  • Operating farm tractors with implements such as peat harvest vacuums and various harrows
  • Storing, monitoring and performing quality control testing on the harvested peat piles
What You Will Need
  • Ability to climb safely in and out of heavy equipment multiple times a day and turn neck and body when reversing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision - Independent personality!
  • Previous experience operating a tractor or other similar heavy equipment
