Manage Dangerous Good compliance and Amelia Cargo duties

Maintain competency as a Cargo Agent and knowledge of Cargo policies and procedures

A minimum of 2 years aviation experience (cargo/or logistics preferred)

Previous training experience is preferred

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations

Experience and skills to deal with difficult people.

Assist and respond to any calls by the K9 Manager for additional service as required.

2+ years of security experience

Ability to accept direction and guidance (listening skills) follow instructions.

Provide K9 Patrol/Protection support in accordance with established procedures.

Ability to pass and maintain EDDHT Validations.

Coordinate and schedule project milestones, assure communication, and monitor timely submission of checklists, contracts, loan letters, budgets, and written materials.

Facilitate ongoing project meetings involving curatorial staff and non-curatorial departments, provide regular updates and monitor deadlines and deliverables.

Represent the Curator, if necessary, at installation and deinstallation planning meetings.

Produce and edit written materials related to projects for internal and external use.

Conduct project-related research for the Curatorial team. Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external meetings.

Assist Registrar on collections projects, loan projects, rotations, gallery maintenance, and Gallery Assistants training, as required.

Minimum of Three (3) years of property and / or project management experience and relevant postsecondary education is preferred.

Management of administrative and operations personnel;

Excellent leadership and communication skills; experience in managing a team of building operators.

Strong computer skills. Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs – especially Outlook, Excel and Word.

Strong ability to time-manage and work with strict reporting deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Available on an on-call basis to participate in the coordination and management of elevated issues

Manage all warehouse and airside cargo operational activities, ensuring the safe and secure transport of all cargo

Organize and manage the successful end-to-end movement of cargo through the base

Manage customer, partner relationships, and ensure compliance in accordance with all local agreements

Manage local relationships with airport authorities, regulatory agencies and corporate resources related to day-of operational activity

Manage all communication between the airline and other stakeholders including Transport Canada
