Collects data for the completion of the monthly management report as directed by the Site Manager/Supervisor;

Assist Site Manager or Supervisor in offering suggestions for improvement to new or existing process and procedures;

Other duties as assigned by manager.

Manage all aspects of the Ricoh Centre in the absence of the Site Manager/Supervisor.

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

Minimum of 1 year experience working in a mail room, copy centre or customer service

Perform other postal clerk duties as required

Experience working in a production environment is an asset

Operation of material handling equipment

Receiving and accepting mail items

Sort, scan and sequence and batch mail items

Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle

Excellent customer contact and service skills

Retrieves, loads packages into personal vehicle, and delivers packages to customers.

Hourly Rate: Base 16.65$/h + 2.35$/h*

UPS will reimburse you 0.59$ for each kilometer you drive

Responsible for the daily operations of Public Security

On call from Monday to Friday, according to the operational needs of the City's Public Safety Department

Enforce municipal by-laws pertaining to parking, public nuisance, garbage and animal control.

Inform and/or issue tickets to violators of by-laws.

Move or have vehicle moved when it is contravening a by-law or obstructing traffic circulation (snow removal).

Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software

All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service

Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment

High school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration

Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions

Two (2) years’ of journalism experience (an acceptable combination of education and experience will be considered).

Excellent knowledge of regional, provincial and national affairs.

Solid command of the working language (French); very good knowledge of the other official language (English) an asset.

Knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices an asset.

Good knowledge of IT and social media.

Keen interest in the economy, business, politics or social media an asset.
