Cadd Designer Jobs

Ability to communicate complex design and planning issues to internal and external stakeholders including project team, and department management.

Create/update and manage existing base files and reference drawings (surveying) as assigned.

Formal training and experience in BIM 360, Open Roads, In Road, Revit is considered a strong asset.

Experience delivering 2D & 3D AutoCAD / Microstation drawings related to water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Experience with the transportation sector delivering projects with Metrolinx and TTC CADD standards is an asset.

Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.

Standard Knowledge for local municipalities, City of Toronto, MTO, Metrolinx, TTC, OPSD will be an asset.

2 to 5 years of recent project experience working with MicroStation V8i/Connect Edition is required (Advance level of proficiency).

Utility relocation design/drafting experience will be an asset.

Good Written and verbal communication Skills.

Understanding terminology, technology, and other concepts related to transportationengineering, utilities and construction practices.

Facilitating and ensuring the quality and accuracy of drawings and graphic work produced for the team.
