What you need to know about this position:

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production requirements, including forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management.

•Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, purchasing processes, and logistics management.

•Manage import and export documentation, including permits, licenses, and customs requirements.

•Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.

•Prior experience in procurement and logistics, preferably within a manufacturing or OEM environment.

•Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·Work with Creative & Design Manager to create, implement, and report on seasonal merchandising strategies.

·Perform additional duties as required/assigned by manager.

Previous experience as a Material Expeditor / Coordinator, or Purchasing Agent is an asset

Previous work experience in the Nuclear generation industry (CANDU) is an asset

Knowledge of Purchase Orders, and Supplier communication

Understand project schedule milestones and engage relevant parties to ensure compliance

Interface with internal stakeholders to ensure purchasing-related activities (Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, et) are maintained within the project schedules

Tracking, benchmarking, and analyzing expediting efforts and giving feedback to vendors through management

Minimum 3 years related experience or acceptable combination of education and work experience is required

Experience with Lawson system/MRP is an asset

Strong attention to detail coupled with organization skills

Hourly pay ~$26 / hour depending on experience

Identifying reallocation options from valid donor work orders

Through detailed knowledge about inventory developed on job, be ready to assist

Demonstrates leadership in Safety related issues. Responsible for thorough knowledge

Communicate daily with the Manufacturing Manager, Lead Person, and/or Production

Perform other duties as requested by supervisors or managemen

Excellent math skills able to add and subtract fractions

Computer experienced in MS Office, PIC, SMARTSHEET.

Meet or exceed expected performance as set by management.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Excellent communication (written and oral), as well as interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.

Strong knowledge in mechanical, pumps, piping, valves and rotating equipment an asset.
