Business Intelligence Coordinator Jobs in Nova Scotia

A four-year degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related field or the equivalent of education and related progressive experience;

Extensive knowledge and experience in using various query and scripting languages (SQL, MDX, DAX);

2-3 years proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting considered an asset;

Extensive experience with Report Writing / SQL Server queries;

Experience with data-specific tasks including database management, SQL querying, data modelling, online analytical processing

Experience prototyping to develop business requirements for future implementation

Experience in Power BI software development and a number of years of practical experience (minimum 5+ years)

Experience in other Microsoft BI stack e.g. SSAS, SSRS, SSIS

Experience with scripting and programming

Experience working with MS SQL Server on premise and within Azure Environment

Collaborate with key business stakeholders to identify business needs and drive detailed technical requirements.

A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.

Excellent business acumen and ability to communicate with both technical developers and business leaders to translate requirements into a development plan.

Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advanced experience with a visualization / reporting using MS Power BI.

Excellent skills in data modeling using Analysis Services or Power BI and proficient with DAX language.
