Building Science Project Coordinator Jobs in British Columbia

Provide project management and related contract administration

Oversee project administration and assist with design management of engineering projects; provide construction contract administration

Make contributions to the company knowledge base and procedural practices

Minimum of 5 years’ engineering experience, with a focus on projects related to building sciences

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Knowledge in areas related to building science such as thermodynamics, heat transfer and psychometrics

Assist project team on certification management services projects (LEED, WELL, Fitwel, Built Green, Living Building Challenge).

·1-3 years of experience in building design, and construction.

·Familiarity with sustainable building certifications (e.g., LEED, WELL, Fitwel, BuiltGreen, Living Building Challenge) is a plus.

·Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·Effective communication skills, both written and verbal(English).

·Strong research and analytical abilities, an aptitude for quantitative analysis

Project management: 5 years (required)

4 – 6 years of experience minimum

Ability to identify risks – to satisfy client and the company requirements.

Energy efficiency and sustainable designs

Transfer of heat, air, and moisture through a building envelope

P.Eng. status with appropriate provincial association

Project management and contract administration

Experience in writing specifications and tender documents

Construction experience is an asset

Experience with preparing Building Condition Assessments is an asset

Assist in performing condition assessments of multi-residential, commercial, and institutional facilities and preparation of reports and reserve fund studies

Assist in performing leak investigations of all aspects of building envelope; roofs, walls, windows and foundations
