Masters degree in psychology, educational psychology, social work, or in a related human service field.

Experience with clinical interventions and assessments for vulnerable persons.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, mentor, and support others.

Strong assessment, counselling, and service planning skills.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to form strong relationships and professional working alliances.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

The management of the assigned projects and/or cases.

Clear communication to manager, pod, and program trained colleagues regarding the management of cases during foreseen absences.

• 3+ years of Canadian immigration experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

• Analyze prospective immigration cases

Effective communication, organizational and time management skills

Use a variety of case management tools and techniques, including offsite visits

Maintain skills and knowledge by taking training and development through courses, seminars and selected reading

Responsible, as an employee, for occupational health and safety and emergency management

Inadequate case management and community liaison can result in reduced provincial subsidy, a failure to promptly refer clients to services.

Complete and monitor appropriate assignment of benefits
