Completes third party requests for information as related to benefits.

Provides expert advice to the Employee Relations and Labour Relations Specialists regarding benefit related grievances.

5+ years’ experience in software development, specific to the field service management industry.

Technical education or previous experience in SQL, programming methodologies, application development, or system analysis preferred.

Engage with partners and users to gather feedback, analyze, define, model and document business processes and requirements to create necessary specifications.

Work closely with documentation and education specialists in producing necessary user facing communications on new features and resolved issues.

Collaborate closely with product managers. Help define and groom the product backlog.

Demonstrate features and enhancements being developed, manage feedback.

Experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Management industry would be an asset

One or more years of experience in customer service or a service-oriented industry

Previous experience in healthcare or related field

Experience as a Pharmacy Technician would be an asset

Able to apply critical-thinking skills to resolve issues

You're the missing piece of the puzzle… Required Experience:

Create letters and perform appropriate follow-ups with participants, employers and TPAs when an adjustment to a participants benefit payment is made

Provide quality customer service, by phone and in person, to the Case Managers team, employers, employees, third parties

Produce information and monthly reports for the Case Managers team

Excellent Math and Accounting skills

Calculate and send out reimbursement cheques

Handle all incoming cheques i.e. reimbursement, returned cheques, legal fees

Experience in leading large, complex programs and efforts that span multiple stakeholder groups, including business realization and financial management

10+ years of combined corporate, and/or strategy consulting experience with significant exposure to the technology/health industries

Collaborating closely with the senior leadership team and key experts to ensure the HBM portfolio realizes its annual goals

Partnering with internal teams to build an efficient governance structure and key performance indicators that tracks to program targeted outcomes

Anticipating ad hoc special strategic asks, working closely with delivery teams as required

Creating a collaborative environment, interacting with a broad range of people to foster robust working relationships

o Must have experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, functional requirements, gap analysis

• 5+ years’ extensive experience with cash Prime Brokerage process flows, data and systems

• Technical BA with 10+ years of progressive experience

• Advanced working experience using SQL on databases such as Oracle, Sybase etc.

• Experience in testing and analyzing data as part of data analysis

• Experience with Microsoft Excel is a must.

Participate in processing of pension benefit calculations in accordance with the pension plan text and regulatory requirements

Time Management – efficiently and accurately complete a large volume of quality work

Experience with defined benefit and defined contributions pension plans preferred but not required

Post-secondary education preferred, preferably in finance related area

Prepare, verify and file tax and other legislative and regulatory requirements (AIRs,T4As, PAs, PSPAs, PARs)

Communicate with members, employers, union representatives, plan actuaries and custodians regarding benefit entitlements; administration procedures and interpretations of plan provisions

Assist with management of outside consulting resources on select engagements to carry out activities and meet objectives

Strong SOX experience along with strong audit, accounting, financial process, risk and control knowledge and experience beyond SOX

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to effect change through collaboration, professionalism, trust, credibility and influence

Strong analytical skills with ability to quickly evaluate issues, determine root causes, and creatively solve complex problems in a solutions-oriented environment

Knowledge of US GAAP, SEC Guidance, PCAOB standards and COSO 2013 required

CPA required; additional relevant professional certifications a plus (CIA, CISA, CRMA, etc.)

Experience in Financial Services, especially Insurance. – Preferred qualification.

Experience with Confluence and JIRA experience. – Preferred qualification.
