Bench Carpenter Jobs

Knowledge about maintenance, and a general knowledge of mechanical aspects or equivalent work experience.

Benefits and pension after 400 hours worked, including medical and dental benefits

Schedule 7 x 7, 12 hour, rotating days and nights (week of days, week off, week of nights, week off)

Hourly Rate Between $30.78-$40.36 per hour (tiered rate system)

Overtime After 44 hours in a week or designated day off

Up to a combined gross rate of pay of $46.50/ hour

Knowledge / previous experience on both Fanuc & Heidenheim controllers

Previous experience working with various manufacturing machinery.

Experience using a range of woodwork machines.

Previous experience working in a high tolerance manufacturing environment.

Bench Joiner - Position Requirements

Operate various machinery within the machine shop.

Experience in production work (making several of the same piece) is a must - at least 1 year

Finishing and polishing raw castings

Forming (hammering jewellery into shape from wire) and soldering

Stringing, drilling and gluing pearls

A self-starter and able to learn quickly

Able to work quickly and efficiently
