Good experience of more than 5 years with private and public cloud, architectures and network, pros/cons, and migration considerations.

Experience in Operating & Growing Hybrid large scale DWH and Big Data Analytics Platforms

Hands on experience in Agile & DevOps Delivery Models.

Excellent Customer Interaction and Communication Skills

Knowledge on Cloud Best Practices and Azure Frameworks.

Experience in basic networking and concepts

Liaise with internal stakeholders and senior management, supplying key input for architecture design decisions, work estimation, and resource planning

Progressive software engineering, design, and architecture experience

Strong knowledge of Azure infra services (Compute, storage, networking)

Experience with agile and distributed environment

Expertise in discovering customer, business, and technical requirements

Proven implementation experience with REST architecture style, DevOps automation, Big Data ecosystems.

Responsibilities for this role include advising stakeholders and translating business requirements into designs for secure, scalable, and reliable Azure solutions.

Manage the Azure Synapse environments ensuring stability, good performance, and proper security controls.

Responsibilities And Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

Participate in the development of our future state architecture for the Data and Analytics platforms.

Deploy and modify Azure resources using Terraform scripting.

Monitor cost of storage, compute, and general utilization of the Azure data platform.

Experience in supporting wealth management and/or credit unions business would be an asset

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, technical diploma, or other applicable software development work experience

Advanced knowledge and understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required

Understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS and Container based deployment models, configuration, and migration experience (including Azure Container instances and Kubernetes)

Strong problem-solving, decision making, and conflict-resolution abilities

Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Understanding business and technology requirements and translating them into actionable and efficient architectures.

Understanding Technology Interoperability Requirements, defining and document effective integration options.

Preparing business requirement reports, feasibility studies, ARB presentations and cost projections.

10+ years experience in infrastructure design and architecture

5+ years experience with MS Azure (App Engine, Azure Kubernetes Cluster, Azure AD, AWS

Experience with designing, implementing & provisioning large scale distributed solutions in a hybrid, multi-cloud retail environment.

Strong SQL coding skills and knowledge of Python

Experience with Data platform architecture, Deployment and Data migration on Microsoft Azure platform

Experience with Big Data Tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Etc

Experience in Creating BI visualizations, Dashboards and reports using POWER BI

Strong knowledge of Devops including CI/CD tools and automation
