5 - 7 years: Mechanical Engineering

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management focus on an automated manufacturing environment.

Skills to manage internal and external teams.

Capture internal requirements and establish the associated specification documents.

Vast experience in warehouse automation, Manufacturing Automation, quality control systems, Safety standards, continual improvement, Robotics, PLCs, and Networks.

Rigor and strong organizational skills.

Skilled communicator, with strong teamwork values.

Ensure all project specifications and implementations comply with company project management procedures and with all governing practices, codes, and regulations.

Understanding of utilities and energy risk management

Where applicable, safely manage external human resources such as vendors and contractors by providing appropriate safety training and awareness.

Minimum five (5) years’ experience performing a similar role is required.

Experience in change, troubleshoot, and develop processes, such as CIP systems, pasteurization systems, sterilizers, etc. is an asset.

Some experience in an engineering, electrical/mechanical or technical capacity in an automated manufacturing environment, familiarity with multi axis robots

Responsible for effective commercial execution of projects through oversite of the project management group

Manage, and escalate (following the escalation process) project risks to Sr Management

Responsible for effective commercial execution of projects through oversite of the assigned project management group

Manage the customer product planning and tracking system and coordinate with all stakeholders

Minimum 5 years experience managing custom automation projects

Computer Expertise: Microsoft Office, Epicor, Microsoft Project, Review level knowledge of Solidworks and Draftsight

Evaluate and recommend allowances for indirect costs, design unknowns, management reserve and contingency.

Review quotes with management team as part of the approval process.

Perform project management activities to help deliver projects to customers.

Prepare and/or coordinate the preparation of full cost quotes and proposals based on Customer requirements and needs.

Manages and stores data in an organized manner in order to facilitate future quoting based on historical data.

Maintain in depth knowledge of business/products to educate and advise customers.
