Automation Infrastructure System Admin Jobs

• Minimum 3 years IT operations experience

• Experience as a Linux admin preferably with focus on running Linux as a hypervisor (KVM)

• Experience maintaining infrastructural services primarily using opensource solutions (ie: DNS, monitoring, backups, storage systems, load balancers)

• Experience with one orchestration tool (Puppet, Ansible, or similar)

• Ability to generate technical documentation to stakeholders with different levels of knowledge

• Strong communication skills with sales, operations, clients, and other key stakeholders

Good planning, organizational, and time management skills.

Core Windows/IT technologies Active Directory, DNS, Network file sharing, server OS deployment and configuration, PowerShell, system hardening, and security patch management

Familiarity with network configuration, reverse proxies, and web application server management.

A bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering or similar discipline

Knowledge of IT security best practices

One year of experience in Windows Server technologies

Understanding of incident management, including incident response, and postmortem analysis

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience working in a technical support and/or operations role

Experience with Python programming and Ansible

Database knowledge of Postgres / MySQL
