They work closely with the Merchandise Manager to ensure that the merchandise assortment is in line with the company’s goals and objectives. They are also responsible for analyzing sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Detailed Job Description An Associate Merchandise Planner is responsible for developing and executing merchandise plans that support the overall business strategy. This includes analyzing sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, as well as creating and maintaining merchandise plans that are in line with the company’s goals and objectives. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers, as well as negotiating pricing and terms. Additionally, they will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and ensuring that the merchandise assortment is in line with the company’s goals and objectives. Job Skills Required
