Associate Loan Accountant Jobs

Manage and respond to requirements of other lenders to help assist them in participating in CCG transactions.

Work experience in investment banking / corporate banking / corporate finance / corporate lending / financial advisory

Coordinate with all CCG groups including MMLIF, Mezzanine Finance and CCG to evaluate and originate new business.

Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance

Knowledge of Capital Markets, credit, credit metrics, and credit structuring

Professional oral and written communication skills

Demonstrate knowledge and ability to read and understand financial data, previous experience with building financial models/analysis

Experience and knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks/QBO, Sage and other ERP systems

Industry experience in an accounting role (controller or senior accountant) with full-cycle accounting is required

Strong working knowledge of Excel

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills as you will be dealing with many different types of people and personalities

Ability to manage numerous clients to which you will assist on a monthly basis

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience

1-2 years of experience in corporate accounting

Experience with Microsoft Office products as well as QuickBooks Online would be an asset

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients and team members

Accounts payable and Accounts receivable administration

Budget vs actual report generation and analysis

Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed. Qualifications:

Applies deep expertise in bank products, processes and systems and effectively trouble shooting to ensure a high-quality client experience.

May manage work flow of other analysts by aligning tasks with departmental goals and objectives.

Prepares summary, present facts and offer opinions concerning credit worthiness.

Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.

Review accruals and billings, management fee calculations, investment ledger, waterfall calculations for several funds and their related entities

Support Fund Managers throughout quarter-end and year-end processes

Support Fund Managers and fund administrators in the delivery and issuance of quarterly investor reporting

Oversee and support all other ongoing reporting deliverables of the Funds, including compliance certifications, credit facility compliance and regulatory reporting

Assist with special projects led by the Private Equity Fund Finance Team, or in collaboration with other corporate groups

Minimum 2 years related experience
