Assisted Daily Living Recreation Worker Jobs

Related experience in long term care and/or with disabled individuals; and

Experience with the use of personal computers in a Windows environment.

Must have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills;

Degree in Recreation or completion of the Recreation Facilitator for Older Adults Certificate or equivalent;

Ability to communicate in both official languages (French and English) is required;

Mental and physical ability to meet the demands of the jobs;

Additional hours may be available with a minimum rate of pay of $29.66/hour;

Identifies and reports to the team manager any adjudication or system problems.

Reports, in documented form to the team manager, any discrepancies or suspect claims that are not in line with contractual agreement.

Demonstrated excellence in oral communication and listening skills in the delivery of superior service to customers.

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Works independently to assess and determine appropriate system entry and correspondence for select requests.

Previous Senior Care and/or Supervisory or Management experienced highly desired

Responsible for assisting in preparation of annual budget and capital replacement plan, as well as fiscal management of the project.

Gathers relevant information to determine if prospective tenants meet the residency requirements of the building.

A minimum of 1 year experience working with the senior population.

Must pass a criminal background check consistent with the requirements of the State of MN

Provides tours and explanation of services to potential tenants, families and referrals.
