Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software

2-3 years of progressive retail sales or customer service experience and at least one year of management experience

3-5 years retail management experience required.

Create development plans and conducts annual appraisals for management team and direct reports.

Maintain SportChek performance management expectations (feedback/coaching); this includes progressive discipline where necessary.

Ensure execution of the Customer Experience and provides resolution for all customer concerns.

Responsible to deliver annual corporate shrink targets through team education, enforcement of LP and audit standards and rigid inventory control.

Results driven with the ability to build and manage a daily, weekly game plans for the department and store.

Initiate and communicate team objectives and updates with Management and District Visual Merchandiser

Participate in execution of floor management as needed

Build and manage client relationships through client database recording

Proven retail management/assistant retail management experience preferably within cosmetics

Previous retail operations experience including inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation

Previous business planning experience including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis and staff scheduling

Experience of creating and executing in-store events

Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software

The ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service

Engage, develop and retain Team Members by leveraging their expertise and unique skillsets

Partner with the Store Manager to create annual and quarterly strategic plans to support growth of the business

Display strong business acumen and analytical skills in order to growth the store business

Ensure Team Members are equipped with the product knowledge they need to make intentional recommendations for Community Members

Uphold presentation standards, and assess and action merchandising opportunities in order to elevate the in-store experience

Cultivate an environment of excellent community member service, sharing our awesome products and spreading wellness through the in-store experience

Communicate L'Occitane standards and expectations to management team and sales associates

Recruit, hire and train Beauty Advisors and future management candidates

Acquire strong product knowledge of the entire L'Occitane product line

Acquire extensive knowledge of L’Occitane skincare product lines

Manage, supervise and train staff

3+ years of work experience in retail sales

Excellent customer service, communication (verbal and written) and time management skills

High school education or equivalent work experience
