Overview An Architectural Associate is a professional who works in the field of architecture, providing support to architects in the design and construction of buildings. They are responsible for assisting in the development of plans, drawings, and specifications for the construction of buildings and other structures. They also provide technical advice and assistance to architects, engineers, and other professionals in the field. Detailed Job Description An Architectural Associate is responsible for providing technical assistance to architects and other professionals in the field of architecture. This includes helping to develop plans, drawings, and specifications for the construction of buildings and other structures. They must be knowledgeable in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software, as well as other software programs used in the field. They must also be able to interpret and analyze architectural drawings and specifications. The Architectural Associate must be able to work with architects and other professionals to develop design solutions that meet the needs of the client. They must also be able to communicate effectively with clients and other professionals to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
