Agricultural Service Technician Jobs

Has a proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of agricultural equipment.

Journeyperson certification – completion of 4-year Ag Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprenticeship

Completion of John Deere certification or willingness to undertake

Is proficient in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Is handy with a laptop to support diagnostics.

Has excellent problem solving ability.

Outstanding communication, organizational, and time management skills;

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position;

Experience in the agricultural sector (selling equipment, attachments, or other related products);

Execute direct sales to farms and agricultural operations in rural regions;

Gain the majority of the market shares on his territory;

Open new accounts and look after the existing ones;

Experience with agriculture equipment would be a bonus (including experience growing up or working on a farm), but not required

Working on a wide range of agriculture equipment and brands

Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Rogator, Cub Cadet, Caterpillar agriculture products and more!

Large agriculture equipment to lawn and garden equipment (the type of equipment can vary by region)

Skid steer loaders, loaders, telehandlers and excavators

Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of agricultural equipment

Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems

Journeyperson certification – completion of 4 year Ag Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Mechanic apprenticeship (will consider Level 4)

Completion of John Deere certification or willingness to undertake

Ability to use computer to support diagnostics

High school completion or equivalent GED

Expert knowledge of John Deere agriculture equipment a very strong asset; Certification preferred

Minimum 5 years of experience performing diagnostics and service repairs

Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment

Computer skills required; Service Advisor an asset
