Overview Advancement Assistant I is a position that provides administrative support to the advancement team in a college or university. The Advancement Assistant I is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the advancement office, including donor relations, alumni relations, and fundraising activities. Detailed Job Description The Advancement Assistant I is responsible for providing administrative support to the advancement team. This includes managing the day-to-day operations of the advancement office, including donor relations, alumni relations, and fundraising activities. The Advancement Assistant I will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of donor and alumni contact information, tracking donations, and preparing reports. Additionally, the Advancement Assistant I will be responsible for coordinating events, such as alumni reunions and donor appreciation events. Job Skills Required• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of fundraising and donor relations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work
• Excellent customer service skills
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• At least one year of experience in an administrative role
• Knowledge of fundraising and donor relations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
