Overview The Accounting Lead is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization. This includes overseeing the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. The Accounting Lead will be responsible for the following:

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Ensure that the organization’s financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and other documents.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Manage the organization’s budget and ensure that expenses are within budget.
• Prepare and review tax returns and other documents related to taxes.
• Assist with audits and other financial reviews.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, bankers, and other financial professionals.
• Provide guidance and support to other departments on financial matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
