Completion of, or working towards, a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major is preferred)

Completion of, or working towards, prerequisites for admission into the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) upon commencement of employment

Previous accounting related office experience is considered an asset

Customer service and/or client service experience is considered an asset

Strong organizational and project management skills

Knowledge of standard business analysis practices, including requirements gathering, business case development and business processes and information technology

Participate in requirements planning, data gathering and analysis, modelling and design

Facilitate meetings to gather and document business and project requirements

Participate in continuous educational and professional development as required

Five (5) years of related experience in accounting, or equivalent

Manage financial queries both from operations and management.

Provide professional, timely and accurate financial information to clients, Operations Management and Senior Management as required.

Ensure unit managers understand and fulfill the financial terms and obligations of client contracts and follow generally accepted accounting principles.

Three years’ experience in a computerized accounting environment (JD Edwards experience preferred).

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.

Project Management: Experience in managing projects, including planning, coordination, and resource management.

Client Relations and Account Management: Manage client accounts and ensure satisfaction, including successful implementation of software solutions.

Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for marketing systems, translating them into clear specifications.

Solution Development: Support the development and implementation of marketing system solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.

While this is a remote position, you must be located in the Metro Vancouver area.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Marketing.

Advanced accounting and finance knowledge

Experienced and skilled in the use of all corporate productivity tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Flexible work schedule to accommodate job responsibilities, including requirement to work some overtime

Support monthly/ quarterly financial review/ forecast meetings in collaboration with Finance Manager.

Work closely with the Finance Manager to amend irregularities and implement new systems or procedures.

Post- Secondary education in accounting

Experience working with accounting and tax software is preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or completion of equivalent academic training

Experience with multi-companies and multi-currencies transaction

Experience working with large ERP systems, preferably Navision or Business Central
