An Accessibility Tester is responsible for testing websites and applications for accessibility compliance. They must ensure that the software is accessible to people with disabilities, and that it meets the standards set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).Detailed Job Description:
An Accessibility Tester is responsible for testing websites and applications for accessibility compliance. They must ensure that the software is accessible to people with disabilities, and that it meets the standards set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This includes testing for keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and color contrast. The Accessibility Tester must also be able to identify and report any accessibility issues that are found during testing.What is Accessibility Tester Job Skills Required?
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
• Knowledge of assistive technologies, such as screen readers, speech recognition software, and text-to-speech software
• Ability to identify and report accessibility issues
• Ability to create detailed test plans and reports
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
What is Accessibility Tester Job Qualifications?
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with web development and/or software testing
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines
• Knowledge of assistive technologies
• Ability to identify and report accessibility issues
• Ability to create detailed test plans and reports
