We are seeking a Winemaking Processing Technician for the upcoming 2023 vintage.

Reporting into the Winemaking Team, The Harvest Winemaking Processing Technician will assist in the winemaking programs in Niagara region throughout the Harvest season.

You will be required to be available 7 days per week for 12hrs/day shifts (day or night) and will be given one day off during that time period. Harvest is approximately 2 to 3 months in duration, beginning at the end of August and ending early to mid-November (actual dates to be confirmed).

We Are Looking For a Teammate With

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise in a calm and scientific manner
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Administrative, office, or data entry experience an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Experience in food science/food manufacturing preferred
• Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing conflicting priorities and maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of WHMIS, HACCP, and ISO an asset but not required

This Teammate Will Be Accountable For

• Entering work tickets into APL's liquid management system (LMS)
• Updating weekly inventory counts in LMS
• Support cellar operations, as required
• Receiving materials into inventory
• Supporting winemaking team in data compliance
• Daily filing of work ticket and any additional filing as necessary
• MSDS sheet sourcing for winemaking ingredients
• Creating P.O.S in Oracle and order materials as needed with additional follow up of receipt and lot numbers
• Entering QC analysis into LMS
