As a Wedding/Event Planner, you will have the opportunity to embark on an exciting career in the event planning industry, even without prior experience. Working closely with our team, you will be guided through the planning and coordination of weddings and events, gaining hands-on experience and developing essential skills along the way. This arrangement allows you the flexibility to work remotely or, if preferred, to join us at our office location in Mississauga, promoting effective collaboration and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the creation of event timelines, production schedules, and floor plans.
• Learn and apply foundational event planning principles and best practices.
• Cultivate professional relationships with vendors and suppliers to foster collaborations on future projects.
• Offer input on design and décor, including colour schemes, floral arrangements, lighting, and overall aesthetics.
• Assist in executing events, including set-up, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Coordinate logistical aspects, such as vendor coordination, transportation, accommodations, and guest management.
• Assist in selecting suitable venues, vendors, and service providers based on client preferences and budget.
• Collaborate with the Digital Dream team to understand client requirements and event expectations.
• Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the planning process, addressing inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Maintain open communication with the Digital Dream team, whether remotely or in-office, and promptly address any concerns or challenges that may arise.

Requirements:

• A strong passion for weddings and events.
• Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work remotely or join us at our Mississauga office, as per your preference.
