This Web Developer position is for someone experienced, who is looking for the next step in their career. Robert Half is looking for a passionate Web Developer who can transform projects from beginning to end. If you are a candidate with considerable knowledge of enterprise systems, solid coding skills and a sense of creativity, this could be the job for you. This Web Developer position is a long-term contract / contract / contract / contract / temporary opportunity and is situated in North York, Ontario.
Major responsibilities
Work with leadership and others to find the right solutionsCooperate with key partners to deliver tested and reusable code in a quickly changing environment, on timeIdentify business needs and ensure solutions align with the company goalsDrive and code solutions creatively
Requirements
  • Rooted understanding of how a mobile user experience differs from the experience on a web or other application
  • Background in supporting the technical needs of sites of high volume websites, apps, and integrations
  • Demonstrated talent for creating end-to-end solutions that create positive user experiences and happy customer
  • CSS experience desired
  • 5+ years experience with both front-end and back-end technologies in a B2B or B2C web production environment- Strong knowledge of compatibility and cross-browser issues
  • PHP experience required
  • Recent experience with server-side languages
  • Able to iterate quickly turning mockups into various web languages
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
