Position Summary
In the role of Warehouse Associate, the primary responsibility to ensure that every part that enters or leaves our warehouse is handled with care. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, picking, packing and shipping parts to all of our customers across Canada. This role will report to the Eastern Warehouse Manager. The position houses full time hours and competitive wages; as well as comprehensive benefit packages and pension plans.
Responsibilities Include

• Pack orders in accordance with Heritage quality standards, ensuring that all items are correct and orders arrive to customer undamaged
• Accurately record received part information into computer based inventory management system
• Receive and count incoming parts, ensuring accuracy between the physical count and packing lists or purchase order quantities
• Accurately shelf parts in correct warehouse location
• Identify part location and label item with correct barcode
• Accurately read purchase orders and pick the correct parts quickly and correctly
• Assemble customer orders, picking parts, confirming part numbers and quantities

Qualifications

• Ability to intermittently lift 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to learn and understand our computer system
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
• Positive attitude and team work is a must
• Strong time management, organization and multitasking abilities
• Ability to continuously stand and walk on concrete surface
• Strong attendance record and punctuality
• Ability to adapt to change and quick turn around
• Warehouse experience is an asset but not an absolute
• Team orientated and customer service approach to work
