A warehouse that stocks many boxes of everyday and seasonal products is looking for a Receiving Clerk for their new warehouse in Laval.
This position involves lifting loads between 5lbs and 50 lbs. The loads are not heavy, but the task is repetitive and timed. That's the challenge of the job. You'll be using an electric pallet truck on a daily basis. Don't worry, we'll teach you how to use it.
Salary:
The first 37.5-hour week pays $20/hour for morning and $22/hr. for evening
After that, salary increases to $21/hour or morning and $23/hr. for evening
Day schedule

• Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Evening schedule

• Monday to Friday 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

2 paid 15-minute breaks
30-minute unpaid lunch break

Responsibilities
The receiving clerk will, among other things:

• Operate an electric pallet truck (on-the-job training)
• Unload product boxes from trucks (between 5 and 50lbs)
• Meet deadlines
• Ensure incoming and outgoing products are in good condition
• Keep shipping and receiving logs
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization and safety
• Ensure seamless quality control of merchandise

Qualifications
Skills expected of an excellent goods receiving clerk:

• Attention to detail and good time management
• Warehouse or industrial experience
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking French OR English.
• Able to handle pressure
• Ability to repeat the same movement several times
• Ability to walk with equipment and/or stand during shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull
