Position Summary:

• Reporting to: Marketing Team
• Position: Experienced Videographer and Editor
• Work-term: Full-time with option for part-time
• Location: open to people in the GTA

Candy Funhouse is looking for a skilled Videographer and Editor who can bring our creative vision to life through recording, editing and post-production. As a Videographer and Editor, you will be responsible for taking quality videos, quality angles, assembling raw footage, enhancing visual elements, adding special effects, and ensuring the overall quality and aesthetic appeal of our videos. This position requires a strong eye for detail, proficiency in video editing software, and a passion for storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and create work which is visually appealing, engaging, unique and high quality for Youtube and Social Media (TikTok, Instagram, etc)
• Contributing to brainstorming sessions and providing creative ideas for content
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to understand project requirements and bring the vision to life and implementing feedback to ensure final product is meeting objectives
• Using the most up to date features and techniques which are trending in popular social media content
• Managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have knowledge of camera operations for both still photos and video, and knowledge of lighting and composition
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience of 3-5+ years
• Willingness to learn and take on challenging tasks
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, taking feedback and incorporating it into the editing process.
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor, showcasing a strong portfolio of edited videos for YouTube and social media content
