APERÇU DU POSTE


Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’un vice-président des ventes/grossiste pour notre équipe des ventes à Montréal. Dans ce rôle, le candidat retenu doit développer et mettre en œuvre un plan d’affaires et une stratégie de vente pour augmenter la part de marché de CI sur le territoire; développer une stratégie de couverture du territoire et un plan de communication avec les conseillers existants et potentiels; et éduquer et développer les connaissances des conseillers quant aux solutions de placement de CI.


RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES


  • Maîtriser le message d’Investissements CI
  • Adopter pleinement et utiliser efficacement la plateforme GRC de CI pour maximiser les résultats des ventes sur le territoire
  • Établir des relations consultatives avec les conseillers et le personnel
  • S’appuyer efficacement sur les cadres supérieurs dans le processus de vente
  • Améliorer et développer en permanence la connaissance des produits, les compétences de vente et l’efficacité
  • Représenter CI lors de conférences régionales et nationales
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les coordinateurs des ventes pour mettre en œuvre le plan du territoire, prospecter et entretenir les relations existantes (notamment en fournissant des conseils et un encadrement)
  • Utiliser une gestion délibérée et réfléchie des horaires et du calendrier afin d’optimiser le temps des clients et de s’assurer que les activités correspondent aux priorités du territoire
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les comptes nationaux et les grossistes internes afin de définir et de mettre en œuvre les initiatives spécifiques de l’entreprise et des conseillers
  • Augmenter les ventes et accroître la part de marché de CI


COMPÉTENCES REQUISES


  • Cours sur le commerce des valeurs mobilières au Canada (CCVM)
  • Capable de prendre des décisions rapides et appropriées, tout en travaillant dans le cadre réglementaire
  • Diplôme universitaire
  • CFP, CIM ou CFA, un atout
  • Gestion approfondie des placements et connaissance générale du marché
  • Nécessité de travailler en dehors des heures normales de travail
  • Des relations établies dans le secteur sont préférables
  • Plus de 3 ans d’expérience de vente liée au rôle de grossiste interne, hybride ou externe
  • Un sens aigu des affaires et une compétence avérée dans les disciplines commerciales générales
  • Expérience de l’utilisation de Salesforce.com, un atout
  • Capacité à établir des partenariats et des relations internes dans un environnement d’équipe

Job Overview


We are currently seeking a Vice-President, Sales/Wholesaler to join our Sales team in Montreal. In this role, the successful candidate is expected to develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy to increase CI’s market share within the territory; develop a territory coverage strategy and communication plan with existing and prospective advisors; and educate and develop advisor knowledge of CI investment solutions.


What You Will Do


  • Master CI’s investment message
  • Build consultative relationships with Advisors and staff
  • Effectively leverage senior management in the sales process
  • Increase sales and grow CI’s market share
  • Work closely with Sales Coordinators to implement territory plan, prospect and maintain existing relationships (includes providing guidance and coaching)
  • Work closely with the National Accounts and Internal Wholesalers to identify and execute on specific firm and advisor initiatives
  • Represent CI at regional and national conferences
  • Fully adopt and effectively use CI’s CRM platform to maximize sales results in the territory
  • Use deliberate, thoughtful scheduling and calendar management in order to maximize client time and to ensure activity corresponds to territory priorities
  • Consistently improve and develop product knowledge, sales skills and efficiencies


What You Will Bring


  • University degree
  • Able to make quick and appropriate decisions, while working within the regulatory framework
  • Experience using Salesforce.com an asset
  • Ability to build internal partnerships and relationships in a team environment
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated proficiency in general business disciplines
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
  • 3+ years of sales experience related to the role as an internal, hybrid, or external wholesaler
  • CFP, CIM or CFA an asset
  • In depth investment management and general market knowledge
  • Established relationships within the industry is preferred


WORKING CONDITIONS


  • Extensive travel required
  • Required to work beyond normal working hours
