Utilities Engineer Jobs

We are hiring Utility designers for all levels including entry to senior for a power distribution company based in Ontario.

What You Will Be Doing:

Design utility infrastructure systems and produce related drawings in accordance with current utility standards and Electrical Safety Authority standards as applicable. Responsible for updating the CAD design standards and library, as needed. Duties include maintenance of electronic files, design practices, and updating all staff on any changes

This Position is for You if:

• Can ducts in the ground pull cable through the ground
• You have post-secondary 3-year Electrical Engineering Technology diploma or a related field
• Knowledge of codes and regulations governing electrical system design in Ontario
• Excellent computer skills in software programs commonly used in an engineering office environment, including AutoCAD and/or Microstation and Microsoft Office
• Worked with high voltage power module
