Role Description
As a User Experience Designer (Intermediate), you will be responsible for designing, testing, and delivering user-centered design solutions for services and digital products. In this full-time remote role, you will be collaborating directly with clients, development teams, and stakeholders. Some of the day-to-day tasks include conducting user research, creating user personas and user stories, designing user flows and wireframes, prototyping, drafting service blueprints, and conducting usability tests. Your focus will be to thoughtfully craft user experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and empowering.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc.
- 5-8 years of relevant professional experience in User Experience Design.
- Experience with user research methodologies such as contextual inquiry, interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for designing sustainable and impact-focused solutions that positively contribute to society.
- Experience developing service blueprints and service prototyping.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field. A portfolio demonstrating your user-centered design skills is a plus.
- Understanding of accessibility principles and guidelines, and experience designing for users with diverse abilities.
