We are now seeking an experienced Tire Shop Manager to join our team and lead our tire shop operations.
Job Summary:
As the Tire Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our tire shop operations. Your primary focus will be on managing a team of tire technicians, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining exceptional customer service, and driving profitability. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background in the tire industry along with excellent leadership and managerial skills.
Responsibilities:
• Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of tire technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure optimal productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, order processing, and service quality control.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive tire and service sales, meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by resolving customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with other departments within the company to optimize overall operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, new products, and advancements in tire technology to make informed business decisions.
• Manage relationships with tire suppliers and negotiate favourable pricing and terms.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business administration or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the tire industry, with proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of tires, including installation, repairs, and maintenance.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving profitability.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle customer complaints and inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications relevant to the position.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to tire shop operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
