Position Summary


Reporting to the Manager, Telecom • Information Technology, the Telecomm Support Analyst will be responsible for providing assistance with configuration of the mobile device as per company requirement and upgrade (OS, firmware, and patches) on Android Smart Phones.

Location: 6767 Davand Drive, Mississauga


Schedule: Working Hours 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional evening and weekend work to support deadlines, implementations or production support


What you will do


· Knowledge and hands-on experience with mobile devices, predominantly Samsung, along with hardware and software troubleshooting skills.

· Must have excellent customer service skill, effective organizational, writing, and communication skills. French will be a plus.

· Must have understating of Microsoft Office, Windows, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Active Sync & Samsung KNOX (MDM).

· General telecom maintenance and support including but not limited to client support, new deployment, maintenance & troubleshooting. Travel may be required and should be available after hours and as per business requirement.

· Diagnose technical problems with mobile devices, mobile applications and quickly implement solutions.

· Should be able to work with the IT Service Desk and complete the job as per the priority.

· Escalate urgent issues requiring more in-depth knowledge of appropriate internal/external resources.

· Ensure that all support issues are resolved in a timely fashion.

· Perform product testing when necessary.

· Communicate with vendors and business as needed.

· 2+ year’s working experience with Telecom Company or similar is preferred, but not mandatory.

· Knowledge of Telematics Technology will be counted as a plus.

· Able to multitask & be a problem solver.

  • Proven experience in Operational Production support and implementation of solutions, systems, or products.
  • College diploma or university degree
  • Ability to work, prioritize and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Sitting for extended periods of time, lifting 20 pounds plus may be required.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and adapt to changes.
