Job Description
The Headteacher of a welcoming and caring Primary School in the Little Lever area of Bolton is looking to recruit a capable Teaching Assistant, who has clear experience of supporting pupils with SEND in particular ASD.


The post is to start in September, and will be 15 hours a week Monday - Friday afternoons only.


The school aims to support children academically as well as socially and emotionally by providing opportunities for children to help others, be creative, understand their feelings and reflect on values. The school promote equality, tolerance and respect for their environment and community and provide a calm and orderly environment for pupils which offers a broad and balanced curriculum.


The Required Experience For The Teaching Assistant Role Is


  • Strong Behaviour Management
  • A Teaching Assistant with a passion for improving standards
  • A Teaching Assistant who can create an inclusive environment, and remove all barriers to learning
  • Pro-active and resilient
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification, to Level 2 or equivalent - desirable
  • Experience of supporting children with Autism
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the EYFS Framework
