You?ve mastered the surveillance operator role and have solid knowledge of table games. Now challenge yourself and take charge to ensure that the integrity of gaming operations are protected.


As a Surveillance Manager, you will lead and work with the surveillance team and use your natural attention to detail to identify, investigate, and report suspicious activity, unusual play or deviations from internal controls.

Key Responsibilities


  • Initiate and conduct investigations and provide timely reports
  • Supervise and manage team performance while participating in surveillance activities
  • Communicate with surveillance staff and management regarding investigations, and current issues
  • Maintain knowledge of BCLC/AGLC, GPEB Policy and Procedure, FOIPPA and FinTrac
  • Train, coach and provide corrective feedback and recognition of individual/team accomplishments


What You Bring


  • Ability to work in a dimmed, enclosed and controlled room in close proximity to colleagues.
  • Strong vision with ability to focus on a computer screen for long periods of time
  • Working knowledge of Criminal Code of Canada is an asset.
  • Are confident with your judgement and can clearly convey your findings in writing.
  • Are resourceful, observant, and meticulous in all areas of your work.
  • Are reliable, diligent, and have a high level of integrity.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, video monitors and recording equipment.
  • Enjoy mentoring others and leading by example.
  • Post -secondary degree, diploma or certificate in a related field is an asset.
  • Thorough knowledge of Gateway, BCLC/AGLC and GPEB policies pertinent to casino and surveillance operations.
  • Benefit from working flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.
  • Can assess situations carefully, are sensitive in dealing with people and proactive in providing solutions.
  • Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • Cultivate a positive team-oriented, collaborative and communicative environment.
  • Two years? experience as a Surveillance Operator.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
