Supplier Quality Engineer Jobs

We need candidates with solid experience launching programs and who has been with a company at least 4-5 years.

Attached is the job description for Supplier Quality Engineer. Salary range is approximately 80k.

This is to replace our Supplier Quality Engineer who resigned because he is moving to a different area.

*We need someone with an electrical/mechanical background.

*Must have experience dealing with suppliers.

*Must be able to do international travels (approximately 10%) to Korea & China.

*Three to five years of automotive auditing experience.IATF Internal auditor certification preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:

•University degree/college diploma or the successful completion of career related courses

•Certified Quality Engineer would be given preference

•Three to five years of automotive auditing experience for product & process.IATF Internal auditor certification preferred.

•Adept with problem solving methodologies. Preference will be given to Six Sigma Blackbelts, or Red X Journeyman or Technician.

•Three to five years in the quality field in a technical capacity

•Knowledge of all Quality concepts and phases including:APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, Root cause analysis and DFSS.

•Computer literate with strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with experience using Windows and Minitab

•Able to work overtime and travel (local, international)

•Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting critical program milestones.
