About This Opportunity


The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for the management of Coke Canada drivers and the effective distribution of Coca-Cola product to our customers. Please note this is a day shift position, Tuesday- Saturday schedule.


Responsibilities


  • Serve as liaison between sales, distribution and warehouse to maintain efficient communnication between functions
  • Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members
  • Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolving customer issues
  • Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements
  • Supervising a team of ~20 distribution employees, while respecting budgetary constraints
  • Manages drivers' delivery schedule and hours worked
  • Manage and audit team member's timekeeping
  • Manage within labor and OPEX budget


Qualifications


  • Ability to cultivate, manage and foster a diverse team of employees
  • Possess excellent organization and time-management skills
  • 1+ years experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required
  • Ability to provide leadership, motiviation, and training for development of the distribution team
  • 2+ years experience of supervisory experience required
  • Possess excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Be familiar with Office and SAP computer tools
  • Be familiar with Office and SAP computer tools
  • Prior experience in distribution, retail, or warehouse required. Beverage industry is preferred.
  • Experience managing in a unionized environment is preferred
  • Ability to initiate activities and perform duties without direct supervison
  • Be familiar with department of transportation regulations
  • Be a leader, a good communicator, and a convener
  • Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations based on analytical evalutations
  • Post secondary education in a related field or experience deemed equivalent
