Sub-Acute Clinical Nurse Specialist (2023-0558)

As a CNS you are part of an interprofessional team utilizing nursing processes and standards to enhance health care delivery to the sub-acute population by utilizing nursing practice standards, evidence-based practice and Carewest Policies and Procedures to enable clinical teams to flourish and create a base for innovation. This role will be one that incorporates program planning, change management and implementation of program wide initiatives. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality client and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of Carewest. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to client and family centered care, health promotion and maintenance.

Program Summary: Carewest is excited to offer the new position of a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) that focuses on the Carewest sub-acute sites in the Calgary Zone at the Glenmore Park, Sarcee, and Dr. Vernon Fanning centre that consists of 270 inpatient beds.
