Sr. Purchaser
Kingston, ON
This is a rare opportunity to join an established company as a Senior Purchaser! Our client is a North America wide manufacturer of mechanical and electrical equipment.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Assess requests and planned needs, then place orders within the supply chain to guarantee on-time delivery and support production demands.
  • Lead and/or participate in department process improvement and ways to implement cost reductions
  • Review cost estimates and engage in negotiations with suppliers and contractors to finalize pricing, terms, and conditions
  • Track and oversee inventory levels in alignment with present production needs, making necessary adjustments to delivery schedules
What You Bring To The Table
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field: Supply Chain Management, Production/Operations Management
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and previous use of ERP systems
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
  • Purchasing experience and managing vendor relationships
  • Be able to handle changing priorities effectively
