Special Projects Assistant (Aerial Photo Collection)

The Special Projects Assistant will help create an inventory of the McGill Library’s aerial photo collection as part of a broader provincial initiative among Quebec university libraries. Duties will include carefully entering specific details (metadata) about each photograph into an excel spreadsheet, ensuring the photographs are in proper order, labelling and reboxing photos as needed, and uploading the inventory files to the central project repository.
Required Skills Include
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • English: spoken, written and read. French: spoken and read is an asset. McGill University is an English-language university where day-to-day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Able to work independently
Weekly works hours: approximately 10
Hourly Salary
(AMUSE A) $15.35
