Job Summary And Responsibilities

EVRAZ’s Information Technology Co‐op program is designed for students interested in building a career in industrial manufacturing. Co-op assignments are structured so that students develop with each new work term, positioning them to accept an increasing level of complexity and self‐reliance. Our goal is to have our co-op students fully capable of stepping into a full‐time information technology role after their degree is attained.

With the collaboration of the EVRAZ Tubular Products Group Information Technology team, you will assist with various projects related to information management, database development and maintenance as well as contribute to the technical competencies and production requirements of our manufacturing facilities.

• Integrated Client/Server environment
• Innovation to design and develop customized process feedback
• GPS, Industrial Computers and RFID scanners over wireless networks
• Comfortable developing/supporting systems used in a manufacturing environment
• Assist with assigned projects, contributing expertise and owning results for assigned tasks
• Solid programming skills and desire to work under the mentorship of a well experienced team
• Performs other duties as they might be assigned
• Automation and Control through a variety of Industrial protocols

Requirements

• WPF, WCF, EDM, Expression Blend
• Good knowledge of database performance and tune-ups
• Power BI
• SQL Server 2008/2012 and Management Studio
• Good knowledge of database performance and tune-ups
• Visual Studio VB / C# .Net
• .net Developer
• SharePoint, preferred
• SSIR / SSRS
• 3rd year Computer Science or Software Systems Engineering student in good standing at a recognized post-secondary institution
